The Fieldhouse at Canaan (TFC), on the western edge of the Berkshires, is wholly dedicated to the health, wellness and development of individuals and teams of all ages. Our vision was of a beautiful indoor multi-sport field – with bright light and fresh air – infused with sound, video, & information technologies for a total player development experience. We envisioned our customers ranging from pre-schoolers through seniors.
TFC's steel structure is 20,000 square-feet with a peak height of 40 feet tapering to 27 feet on the side. TFC maximum occupancy is 103 persons. This non-smoking facility is handicap-enabled with two bathrooms and is fully compliant with all building safety regulations. True to the vision above, TFC is 96% playing space with only 4% viewing (supporter) space.
Given these space limitations, the rules above will be enforced to ensure both the safety and harmony of all TFC customers (participants and supporters). A single violation of rule #1, or repeated violation of other rules, will terminate one's participation in TFC programs.
